My daughter and I attended a summer festival: Upon leaving, we were drawn to a crowd that had formed around some young people dressed in umpire clothing. They claimed to be giving out gift cards for ComEd Customer Appreciation Day. I was VERY suspicious, my daughter excited. FREE(???!!!???) Nike and Macy’s gift cards, in exchange for what? OUR COMED ACCOUNT INFORMATION. When my daughter went to use the card, it was empty.

Today, I get three letters in the mail stating that we had switched over to Great American Power!!! Mind you, had never heard of this company, The problem is that they will charge an additional $30-$40 every month!!! HOW DO I KNOW THIS? Currently waiting on a refund from another scammer: SPARK ENERGY. I just found out last month that Spark has been charging me $30-$40 each month, since 2016!! Their records show that someone named Corey with a diff phone number, but my address, signed me up!!! So, check your bill, it will be in tiny letters. If your bill is suddenly $30-$40 dollars higher, it could have been switched without your authorization. That account had been on auto-pay so I did not even see the tiny letters. Stopped autopay last month, and saw it right away!!! MORE THAN BEWARE: BE AWARE! All these utility companies are scammers, and so one account does not need two scammers!!! Lol!!

Shame on you #comed for not providing protection or accountability for your LOYAL customers! Shame on you #greatamericanpower for allowing your agents to scam customers. Your services must be awful if this the way you get new customers! WHERE IS THE ACCOUNTABILITY FOR FRAUDULENT ACCOUNT SIGNUPS? Shame on you #Nike and #Macys for allowing your brand to be used this way. Boycott ALL Multinational Corporations.

Do not contact me. Have already called to cancel.

I have been experiencing continual harrassment about changing my supplier even though Ive asked them to leave me alone. This company continues to robocall me in an attempt to get me to change power companies.

I have contacted them (contact with KariBinns, general counsel) She indicated she did not believe it was them. On 8/16/19, in an attempt to prove that these calls were indeed them, I participated in a 22 minute phone conversation in which i was given the confirmtion number 4271****. This was my SEVENTH call in a 3 month period. I called the general number this morning and they confirm that they have record of this call and assure me my power would not be changed because the call was "not properly validated" on my end.

To date, corporate still has not taken responsibility for the calls and I am quite sure I will continue to receive them.

These robocalls are made to my cell phone, which has been on the DNC since 2006. At this point they arent even acknowledging any communications i send them and are making no attempt to resolve the issue.
